CEO
Peter Hegland is CEO at JAMS Software. As part of the JAMS team, he is focused on delivering a great customer experience through product innovation and staying in regular, direct contact with the people who use JAMS every day. Every JAMS customer gets his direct line, no gatekeepers.
Sam Sloan
CFO
Sam Sloan is CFO at JAMS Software. Sam built a background in accounting and finance at the University of Minnesota, then spent nine years at Fortra across accounting, finance, and M&A before joining JAMS.
Sam lives in Minnetonka with two daughters, Sadie and Daisy, and two Aussiedoodles. Outside the office, Sam is happiest at the cabin, on the boat, or cooking for the family. Golf comes a close second.
Jon Spencer
VP, Sales
Jon Spencer is Vice President of Sales at JAMS Software, leading the global sales team. Jon has been with JAMS for more than 15 years, working directly with customers and partners on hybrid and cloud automation, ERP integration, DevOps, managed file transfer, and enterprise job scheduling. He is focused on building lasting customer relationships and a sales team that delivers real results, not just quotas.
Rob Sutrick
VP, Research and Development
Rob Sutrick is Vice President of Research and Development at JAMS Software. He brings 30 years in software development to the role, with a background spanning automation, cybersecurity, and cloud operations. Rob is focused on building scalable, customer-centric solutions that keep JAMS orchestration simple and reliable, and on shipping software that directly benefits the people using it every day.

VP, Marketing
Bobby Schmidt is Vice President of Marketing at JAMS Software. His job is to make sure customers and prospects understand what JAMS can do for them, from job scheduling and workload automation to incident management, and always get a straight answer. He joined in 2026, drawn by a product customers rely on and a team known for standing behind it. Bobby lives in Wisconsin with his family and is a die-hard Packers fan with season tickets at Lambeau Field.

Director of Revenue Operations
Hattie Ruckheim is Director of Revenue Operations at JAMS Software. With nearly 12 years in customer operations and renewals, she has built her career in pricing operations, CRM migrations, and cross-functional integration work. Her focus at JAMS is keeping operations streamlined for customers from the moment of purchase through every renewal that follows. Outside the office, Hattie is always planning her next trip and likes getting outside in almost any weather, or relaxing with a good book.
Darrell Walker
Manager, Solutions Engineering
Darrell Walker is Manager of Solutions Engineering at JAMS Software. He helps organizations modernize their workload automation, with more than a decade of experience in systems engineering and solutions design. Darrell has guided enterprises through cloud migrations, infrastructure transformations, and automation rollouts, working directly with customers to get lasting value out of what they build.
Louis Diaz
VP, Support and Services
Louis Diaz is Vice President of Support and Services at JAMS Software, and a workload automation and job scheduling expert. He works across solution identification, implementation, user training, and enterprise planning, helping organizations resolve automation gaps and run more efficiently. Louis co-authored the JAMS University training curriculum and has presented on automation at events including SQL Saturday, Ellucian Live, and JD Edwards INFOCUS.
Kevin Casey
Director, Development
Kevin Casey is Director of Development at JAMS Software. He founded his own computer software and hardware business before moving into enterprise IT, including a stint as a Network Administrator at Ellucian, where he led automation of student enrollment at Mitchell College in Connecticut. Kevin has been at JAMS for 10 years, starting in Support and working his way up to Director of Development, with deep expertise in SQL, PowerShell, and Windows Server.
